The air filter is installed in front of the carburetor or intake pipe to filter out dust and sand in the air and ensure that sufficient and clean air is entered in the cylinder.
空氣濾芯是一種過(guò)濾器，又叫空氣濾筒、空氣濾清器、風(fēng)格等。主要用于工程機(jī)車(chē)、汽車(chē)、農(nóng)用機(jī)車(chē)、實(shí)驗(yàn)室、無(wú)菌操作室及各種精密操作室中的空氣過(guò)濾。
發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)在工作過(guò)程中要吸進(jìn)大量的空氣，如果空氣不經(jīng)過(guò)濾清，空氣中懸浮的塵埃被吸入氣缸中，就會(huì)加速活塞組及氣缸的磨損。較大的顆粒進(jìn)入活塞與氣缸之間，會(huì)造成嚴(yán)重的“拉缸”現(xiàn)象，這在干燥多沙的工作環(huán)境中尤為嚴(yán)重?？諝鉃V清器裝在化油器或進(jìn)氣管的前方，起到濾除空氣中灰塵、砂粒的作用，保證氣缸中進(jìn)入足量、清潔的空氣。
