1、 電池應(yīng)該經(jīng)常補(bǔ)添蒸餾水（純水）。
2、 長期不使用電動叉車應(yīng)該將蓄電池充滿電擱置。并保持相隔1~2個月左右的頻率進(jìn)行充電。
3、 在多班作業(yè)時，電機(jī)驅(qū)動的倉儲叉車需要有備用電池(連續(xù)工作的情況下，電池電量消耗的快，對電池的損耗也比較大)。
4、 電瓶充電時，必須將充電回路與斬波器完全脫離，因為除了影響充電機(jī)充電外，充電機(jī)產(chǎn)生的過電壓也會損害斬波器。
5、 電池不要橫放。因為，電池的內(nèi)部一般是22～28%的稀硫酸。電池正放的時候電解液可以淹沒極板并且還剩下一點空間如果把電池橫放的話會有一部分電極板暴露在空氣中，這對電池的極板非常不利，而且一般的電池的觀察孔或者電池的頂部都有排氣口與外界相通，所以電池橫放電解液很容易流出。
6、選擇智能型分階段的充電器，防止過充導(dǎo)致失水。
7、選擇高效率的電動輪轂系統(tǒng)，減少工作電流。
8、勤充電或保持合理的充電頻率，最好能做到有計劃充電。如一天一充或二天一充。
9、防止虧電存放，虧電存放對電池最有害。
